My name is Peg Skalicky. I was raised in Beroun, Mn. After I graduated from Pine City High School I went to work at Helen's Gallery in Pine City. I learned to do framing and after 5 years I started my own business in my home. I am the mother of three grown children. Working in my home was a bonus while I was raising my family. I am a self taught artist who has never had any formal training. I perfer to paint wildlife, but I can copy just about anything. I enjoy painting on the leaves because I can finish one in one sitting and I don't have to paint a background. The beauty of the leaf is my background.
